Accessibility statement

Digital accessibility on creasano.de – so that our care reaches everyone who needs it.

Accessibility statement

CREASANO UG (haftungsbeschränkt) attaches great importance to ensuring that everyone can use our services independently and without outside help. Our services are expressly aimed at people in need of care, people with limited mobility, older and chronically ill people and their relatives. For many of them, an easy-to-read and easy-to-use website is a prerequisite for being able to order mobile blood sampling at all.

As a grant recipient in the IGP programme of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, we are implementing a digital booking and dispatch platform to improve care with the market-readiness project ‘MobilBloodCare’ (funding code 16GM302401). Accessibility is therefore not an add-on for us, but a natural and necessary part of this task: digital care must reach precisely the people who need it most urgently.

We are guided by the requirements of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) as well as the internationally recognised Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1, conformance level AA) and the European standard EN 301 549.

This statement applies to the website www.creasano.de and all its sub-pages.

Accessibility status

Largely accessible

This statement was prepared on 16 October 2026 and last updated on 18 October 2026.

It is based on a self-assessment against WCAG 2.1 AA: an automated check of all pages and a manual check of keyboard operation, colour contrast, text alternatives, forms and zoom. The shortcomings identified were remedied.

Review in the market-readiness project

Ongoing review

Accessibility is reviewed as part of our market-readiness project ‘MobilBloodCare’ and in line with the aims and measures set out there (see About us · Federal funding). We check new content and functions before publishing them and update this statement regularly.

Accessibility tools

Visual and audio support on every page

You will find our yellow accessibility symbol (a person with outstretched arms) on every page: on a computer at the right-hand edge of the screen, where it always stays level with the text you are reading as you scroll, and on a smartphone at the bottom right, within easy reach of your thumb. Clicking it opens the accessibility tools.

Magnifier

Switch it on once, and it shows the text you point at with the mouse or reach with the keyboard, greatly enlarged at the bottom of the screen.

Text size

Enlarges the text on all pages in several steps up to 175%. The page rearranges itself automatically; nothing is cut off.

Read aloud

Switch it on once, and you decide: every text block is outlined in yellow as soon as you point at it. Click it, and exactly that block is read aloud.

With the small ×, you can minimise the accessibility tools; they then remain available as a symbol at the top right of the header. Your settings are only stored locally in your browser – without cookies and without third-party services. For reading aloud, the page uses the speech output of your browser or operating system; we do not transmit any data ourselves.

Also on every page

Designed for accessibility

  • Fully operable by keyboard, with a clearly visible highlight on the active element
  • “Skip to content” link at the top of the page, clear structure with headings for screen readers
  • Text alternatives for all images; AI-generated images are labelled as such
  • Labelled form fields and clear guidance when filling them in
  • Required fields are also marked as required for screen readers; every group of options states whether one or several answers are possible
  • Expandable sections state whether they are open or closed (“Show details” or “Hide details”), and the menu symbol turns into a close cross when opened
  • Sufficient colour contrast and easily readable text
  • The layout adapts to smartphones, tablets and your browser’s zoom (Ctrl and +)
  • Your device’s “reduce motion” setting is respected
What is not yet accessible?

We are currently not aware of any barriers

Since October 2026, online orders have been placed via our own order form: with labelled fields, full keyboard operation and clear guidance when a required entry is missing. Missing entries are not only highlighted in colour but also reported in text, and the page jumps straight to them.

Should you nevertheless encounter a barrier, we are always happy to take your order by phone or email.

Enforcement and arbitration

If we cannot find a solution

You can contact the competent market surveillance authority and request a review there: the German federal states’ market surveillance office for the accessibility of products and services (MLBF), www.mlbf-barrierefrei.de.

You can also apply for free arbitration proceedings at the arbitration board under Section 16 of the German Disability Equality Act (BGG): www.schlichtungsstelle-bgg.de, info@schlichtungsstelle-bgg.de. You do not need legal representation for this.
